After successfully constructing two industrial buildings in Corona, California, which were designed by Bosz Arch, Inc., this client purchased a 2.5 acre lot in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Bosz Arch, Inc. was asked to design, develop, and engineer plans for a new 47,000+ square-foot industrial building to be built on the site.
The building is concrete tilt-up construction, and includes spaces for warehousing, offices, and ancillary rooms. The 1,820 square feet of first floor office and 1,679 square feet of second floor office area are accented with large solar grey reflective glass windows. Warehouse areas have a 28' clear bottom-of-beam steel girder and joist hybrid roof system, which are served by three dock doors in truck wells and three grade level doors. Exterior walls are highlighted with the use of heavy fluted and sandblasted concrete accent and floating panels, silver reflective solar grey window glazing and polished metal soffits at the entryway.
The owner was pleased with Bosz Arch, Inc.'s design and performance throughout the project, and was extremely satisfied with the final result. The building was leased prior to completion.
