Bosz Arch, Inc. was selected to design a project and develop construction documents for a new 27,000 square-foot freezer and cold dock addition to the existing Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream 57,000 square-foot distribution facility. Of paramount importance was the need to seamlessly incorporate the new cold storage space into the design and function of the existing facility. Challenges facing the design team for this facility addition included construction considerations to minimize disruption of Dreyer's daily deliveries and shipments.

A 12-foot high, 1,900 square-foot roof-top penthouse houses the refrigeration equipment necessary to complete this temperature-controlled freezer addition.
Bosz Arch, Inc. worked closely with the general contractor throughout the design and construction of this project to provide Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream with an on-time and on budget project.
